  If you're looking for an apartment, I *strongly* advise you look for another place. They entice you with pretty attractive move-in gifts, a reasonable initial price, etc. As soon as you sign your lease, however, it's an entirely different story. Should you try to pay rent online, almost all your payments miraculously won't go through until they can tack on late fees. Mold is rampant in most bathrooms, the washing machines repeatedly and frequently break down, and maintenance is slow AT BEST to repair the problems. Management is unreasonable and unhelpful on a good day, and honestly only cares about lining their own pockets - your well-being regardless. Staying here has honestly been one of my worst experiences, and I wouldn't recommend it to even my worst enemies.

  My daughter has lived at Gateway for over 2 years beginning from her freshman year at FSU when she wanted to live somewhere fun rather than the dorms. After reading the negative reviews, I wanted to throw out some positive comments about Seminole Suites. This past year has been one of the best for her. We have seen much progress with management, staff and maintenance in area's that had been issues before. Everyone is friendly in the office and maintenance, when needed, has always responded in a timely and professional manner. So that tells me that management cares about their residents as well as concerns parents have which is why she and her roommates renewed their leases. Student Housing is EXPENSIVE and what Seminole Suites offers is quite affordable when you have tight budgets. There is no "perfect" place to live anymore that is free of any kind of issues. If given the choice all over again of where I'd have my daughter live, I would say that Seminole Suites has been the best!
