  I scheduled an appointment for the minute clinic for 11:45. Once I logged into the system, 45 minutes were suddenly added to my wait time.
  
  While I do understand that urgent care/minute clinic locations typically have a long wait time, I don’t understand why the wait time was long for a scheduled appointment.
  
  When I asked the nurse on staff, she simply closed her door to where there was only a tiny crack in between us and said I needed an appointment. I tried to explain I had an appointment and she promptly closed the door.
  
  The overall attitude of the nurse along with the wait time caused me to leave and go to another urgent care right down the road. The wait time was as expected for an urgent care center and the staff was incredibly helpful and informative.
  
  Finally I am well aware that urgent care centers are swamped this time of year, and business is expected to be slower than normal. However, I believe that this situation could have been handled much better.
