  Township lives up to its motto of “For the table, by the people” as it brings people together over great beer and food.
  
  Located at the corner of Madison and Woodward, Township lies in the heart of Collegetown and is the perfect place to meet up before a football game, as we did before the spring game. Although very busy during this time, we were able to easily navigate to the bar and get our order in. The menus for beer and food are large and easy to sort through, so it isn’t difficult to find something you want. Plus, prices aren’t bad at all, especially considering the prime location here, and there are even weekly specials on top of that. The bar and kitchen seem to be well-staffed and trained, so it does not take long to receive your order. Finally, there is a variety of seating, whether you want to sit inside by their cozy fireplace, regular indoor seating, or outside on the patio.
  
  Overall, Township is a perfect place to meet up and offers a great experience.

  I went out with some friends after a wedding rehearsal dinner here, and one of them wasn't feeling well, but was still trying to stick it out for the bride. She was not drinking because she wasn't feeling too well. She was having a bad period with cramping, a headache and nausea. When she stepped into the bathroom because she was nauseous, they subsequently kicked her out of the bar. One of the male employees who was in the women's bathroom with a female employee (not really sure why there were two male workers cleaning the women's restroom and no signs saying the restroom was being cleaned, or why it takes three employees to clean a bathroom, but that's not the main point of this story), walked her all the way out of the bar and said it did not matter why she was throwing up, but that we had to leave. The rest of the wedding rehearsal party then left with us as support. To say the least, the night spoiled and we were beyond embarrassed to be kicked out of the bar.
