  Really poor bedside manner. Recently my husband was admitted to hospital because of neck pain so severe that he couldn't turn his head from side to side and to even to raise up off the bed or out of a chair was excruciating. The first morning that Dr. Randall comes by to check on him, I asked her how she came to be the Dr to see him when his primary was Dr. Murphy, she replied that she was the on call Dr. for Dr. Murphy. She asked my husband what brought him to the hospital and then went on to say that she didn't understand why he was even admitted in the first place since they couldn't find anything wrong with him. Her demeanor was less than warm and what she stated should have been said to the doctor who actually admitted him from emergency. My husband didn't admit himself. I suggested my husband consider changing his primary if this is who was to be on call for him. Apparently his primary doesn't do hospitals. It gets worst in my opinion before it gets better but is too much to tell in this forum. Just be prepared to strike back because to us, she appeared to have a means streak and apparently our impression of her is not uncommon or isolated.
