  Dr. Inglese and his staff do not proactively explain why procedures need to be done or actions that should be taken after a surgery. Instead, they take the approach that the patient should call to ask questions regarding procedures and post-op practices. I had to determine why a mole was being removed in the first place, as they called to schedule a removal with no explanation of why I needed to undergo surgery. My scar began expanding two weeks after my surgery, and it took me 5 days to reach anyone at the office because their phones were down. When someone finally called me back, they stated that I should have been restricting my movement and that likely lead to my scar widening, although no one ever mentioned weight restrictions or proper post-op movement restrictions. Then they called back to say there was nothing that could have been done to keep the scar from widening but that I should have had a lifting restriction for two weeks post-op, which no one told me after the surgery. Thankfully, my internal sutures did not rupture. My initial experience with this practice was not positive.
